Mike Dubnoff has been a Bay Area wedding photographer since 1979. His work has been published in local newspapers, commercial brochures and national magazines. With over 500 weddings to his credit, Mike has the experience to help make your wedding day go as smoothly as possible. His easy-going style will help you and your guests feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Style

Your wedding is completely covered with a combination of photojournalism and traditional wedding photography styles. During the pre-wedding consultation, we'll ask you both to give us your vision of how you want your wedding photographed. Formal? Fun? Candid? Mostly black and white? We feel that it's ultimately up to the customer to determine how you want your final wedding album to look. Many of our brides and grooms leave this up to us, but we pride ourselves on being flexible and accommodating.

 

Team

We work with some extremely talented second shooters and we choose the one that fits best for your particular destination.  For local weddings we use Erin Barry who has been shooting weddings with us for over 4 years and over 50 weddings.  She is wonderful with children, candids, artistic shots and photojournalism.  For Yosemite and Lake Tahoe our second photographer is Ken Mendoza. Ken has been a landscape & nature photographer for decades, and also takes wonderful portraits. His wife Brady also assists as a Photo Coordinator & Stylist. She scouts lighting & locations, and ensures that your dress & veil look picture perfect every time. Ken and Brady were married in Yosemite valley in 2007, and can help you navigate any of Yosemite's various wedding venues during your wedding day. They're a great addition to Mike Dubnoff’s team. 

Equipment

We use only the best professional camera equipment available, capturing each wedding with full frame Nikon, Canon, and Hasselblad cameras. We shoot with only the best lenses from Nikon, Canon and Zeiss.  We bring full backup equipment to all weddings, including extra camera bodies, lenses and flashes.  In addition, Mike's digital images are all backed up on the spot so when he leaves your wedding he has 2 complete storage devices ready to upload on to the main computer.  All files are immediately copied onto a backup  hard drive and burned to 2 DVD's.
